Harley-Davidson announced a radical new production plan which includes a sub-500cc Harley-Davidson for India, an all-new adventure machine along with a streetfighter and wide range of electric bikes.
On the celebration of 115th anniversary of Harley-Davidson, they exhibited the production version of their first electric motorcycle, Harley-Davidson LiveWire.

It is expected that the Livewire will go on sale by August 2017 and will be manufactured at Harley’s American production facility in York, Pennsylvania. The body colored headlight cowl is the most highlighted new design on the body. A redesigned fuel tank, tail section and seats are the added features. The production bike even features a different swingarm.
The charging port is hidden because of the slim tank with a conventional fuel cap on it.

All-LED will serve the lighting purpose and the instrument cluster will be a full color screen. In addition, the electric bike has smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for calls, navigation and music for running vehicle diagnostics. The Livewire will be equipped with twin disc Brembo monoblocks instead of the single-disc unit. Suspension hardware is updated to fully-adjustable Showa suspension front and rear.
No details are yet out about engine output, range and, of course, price for the LiveWire.
