For the past one year, rumours of BMW Motorrad working on a supersport version of the BMW G310R have been doing the rounds. However, the Berman brand was that adamant not to disclose things bout the upcoming motorcycle.
At the BMW Motorrad Days in Japan, the manufacturer exhibited a fair sportbike called the G 310RR. The model was overloaded with carbon fibre.
Both G 310 R and the TVS Apache RR 310 have a side-slung exhaust, the G 310 RR concept had an underseat unit. The bike provides a sportier look posture as the clip-on handlebars are lower set and the footpegs are slightly rear set.
It is expected that the production versions of the G 310 RR is expected to be showcased at the INTERMOT or EICMA motorcycle show later this year. In Indian market, it will debut by mid or late 2019. It will for sure compete against the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, TVS Apache RR 310, Benelli 302R and the Yamaha R3.
