Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the rape allegations leveled against him to social media and said that the charge made against him is ‘fake news.’
Reportedly, on a live session in Instagram, Ronaldo said that “No, no, no, no, no. What they said today? Fake,fake news. They want to promote (themselves by using) my name. It’s normal,” Also added that “They want to be famous by saying my name, but it is part of the job. I am a happy man and all is good,”
As per reports, the American women Kathryn Mayorga, who Ronaldo allegedly raped has filed a lawsuit. Reportedly,the women claims that Ronaldo has assaulted her in his Palms Casino Resort suite. Further, the lawsuits alleges that he had a team of fixers that the lawsuit calls it as “personal reputation protection specialists.”
Also it claims that the team has kept regular tabs on Mayorga and her family and as well as law enforcement to develop and implement a method. Also pointed that, even tried to prevent the leaking of any allegations that could affect Ronaldo. Christian Schertz, Ronaldo’s lawyer has also dismissed all charges stated in a statement in the lawsuit.
