Recently, Indonesia’s military and disaster agency officials confirmed that the death toll in the earthquake and tsunami that struck Central Sulawesi has reached to 2000.

As per reports the Indonesian Disaster Mitigation Agency informed that the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami have started to return to their homes. Also the number of people displaced from their homes to different locations has come down to 62359 across Central Sulawesi.
While at a press conference, Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management spokesperson said that “The survivors cannot stay for very long in the displaced persons camps because, the children must return to school soon adding that emergency schools may be set up using tents.”
On September 28, an Island in Indonesia namely Sulawesi was struck by two powerful earthquakes and Tsunami and caused loss of human lives and widespread displacement.
