SWM, the Italian brand will launch its Superdual T in India on Oct 11. The company had already showcased the adventure bike in an event in Pune.
Under the Motoroyale brand, Kinetic group will be retailing SWM in India. They are currently selling MV Agusta in India. It is expected that there is a probability to launch FB Mondial and Hyosung.
Internationally, the Superdual T will be offered in two variants- the Superdual T, which is more road-focused, and the Superdual X, an off-road version. Considering a wider customer base, the Superdual T will be first launched as Motoroyale.
The new model will be powered by a 600cc, single-cylinder, four-valve DOHC liquid-cooled motor that delivers 57hp and 53.5Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It uses a 45mm, rebound-adjustable, upside-down fork and a fully adjustable monoshock. Suspension travel at the front is 210mm and at the rear is 270mm.
It is equipped with a standard ABS and the Superdual T uses a 300mm disc at the front and 220mm at the rear. The fuel tank is capable to contain 19 litres and the bike has a dry weight of 169kg.
It is likely to retail at around Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
