The “Save Sabarimala Yatra” organized by NDA started from Pandalam and it is expected to reach the State Secretariat on October 15th. The Yatra began from Manikandan Althara.
In the end of the first day Yatra will end at Adoor. On 11th , the Yatra starts from Pandilam and ends at Kayamkulam. Third day it starts from Chavara and ends at Kollam. On 13th the procession will head towards Kottiyam. The yatra will reach to Kazhakutam and on 15th Yatra will reach the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Yatra will be led by NDA state president Thushar Vellapally, Pandalam Palace committee administrators and other association leaders. The yatra is organised against the women entry to Sabarimala temple. The review petition has been filed in the Supreme Court by the various organisations.
Meanwhile, various other organisations started agitations in different parts of the state against womens’ entry to Sabarimala. Hundreds of people, including women are participating in the protests.
