On Friday, while hearing the public interest litigation, Supreme Court asked whether everyone in India should become a vegetarian. The filed plea was asking the Supreme Court to impose a ban on the export of meat for consumption and leather.
The court bench included Justice Madan B Lokur, which pointed that “We cannot pass an order that everyone should become a vegetarian. While hearing the matter, Justice Lokur asked “Do you want everybody in this country to be a vegetarian?”
Recently, the Shiv Sena and other Hindu organizations used force to close almost 400 meat and chicken shops in Gurugram,Haryana and also they demanded that the shops should be shut during the Navaratri. As the organizations came to street as a protest, the top court was made to make a decision regarding this
How can the political parties and organisations decide the right of the people about what they have to eat and not to? The Hindu organisations were made to take proper decisions which benefits the people and not to attack them.
Rather than working for the people how can the parties impose things on the people. The common people are not the tools to fulfill the demands of the parties but the political parties are made in order to complete the necessary needs of the people.
