Tomorrow, Triumph Motorcycles is all set to unveil the 2019 Scrambler 1200. It follows scrambler design itself.
The bike will get knuckle guards, an engine sump guard and high mounted twin exhausts. The exhaust follows the scrambler format dictates.
The Scrambler 1200 will get a 21-inch front and 19-inch rear spoke wheels shod with dual-purpose rubber. It follows a full-LED headlamp from the Bonneville Speedmaster.
It is expected to work on a 1200cc, parallel-twin motor that produces 96bhp and 112Nm of torque. In addition it is likely to follow electronic aids such as traction control and ABS. It is expected to be offered in two variants; base and ‘R’.
The base variant is expected to be equipped with KYB suspension and Nissin brakes, the higher-spec ‘R’ will likely get Ohlins shocks and braking hardware sourced from Brembo. It is expected to hit the roads in India sometime in January 2019
