Now on the Kepler Space Telescope will not work and it is finally taking its final sleep.
The spacecraft worked for more number of years than its fuel levels allowed and helped the scientists to discover thousands of planet beyond our solar system.
The Kepler Space Telescope was launched in 2009 with limited fuel for over six years. But then however it extended its four-year mission and sustained for nine years in the space.
Recently, NASA noticed that Kepler was running out of fuel and finally decided to officially retire it from its functioning. Now it is in a safe orbit far from earth and the data collected has been transmitted to Earth.
