Atlast, much anticipated OnePlus 6T was launched successfully in India with some significant design updations. The OnePlus 6T comes with an in-display fingerprint technology, no 3.5mm headphone jack and a water-drop notch design.
The OnePlus Company claims that the in-display technology in OnePlus 6T is the fastest in the world. It takes just 0.34seconds to unlock and is equipped with sophisticated self-learning algorithms.
The camera of 6T comes with two new features, Nightscape and Studio Lighting. Nightscape allows to captures low-light urban environments with improved clarity, less noise, more accurate color reproduction and better dynamic range. While, Studio Lighting, a feature that has been fine-tuned to recognize faces and adjust the lighting accordingly to simulate professional lighting.
In addition, 6T comes with the new Smart Boost feature. This feature improves the app cold start speeds by up to 20% by storing data from frequently used apps in the phone’s RAM.
The specifications of 6T includes a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display at a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This provides great viewing angles. Bezels and speaker grille were moved to the top of the device. The screen of the smartphone is dressed with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The 3D glass back of the smartphone contains anti-glare coating and a texturized multilayer film.
The latest OnePlus runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB ROM variants. It is the only smart phone working on Android 9 Pie after Google Pixel 3 in India.
The device is is powered by a 3,700 mAh battery, which provides a 20% increase in battery life when compared to OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 6T will be available in Midnight Black and Mirror Black in three variants and will retail at Rs 37,999 for 6GB+128GB, Rs 41,999 for 8GB+128GB and Rs 45,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
