Two Policemen were killed when three to four unidentified gunmen opened fire at the Chinese consulate in Pakistan’s port city Karachi on Friday.
Four gunmen tried to enter the consulate but were intercepted by the security personnels at the checkpoint, leading to exchange of fire which resulted in “killing two of our constables and critically wounding another”, said senior police officer Javaid Alam Odho.
He further said that, the unidentified attackers ran away but didn’t confirm the attack was over. The area has been under survelliance and security guards are carrying out clearing operation. The locals are restricted from entering the area.

Heavy contingents of Police and Pakistan Rangers have been deployed in the area. The area is considered to be red zone.
