On the second day of the 13th Kerala assembly the session began with the Opposition protesting against the government’s stand on Sabarimala issue.
The Opposition entered the house with placards and started shouting slogans raising the issue. The opposition demanded to withdraw the prohibitory order that is prevailing in Sabarimala. They also tried to enter the Speaker’s podium.
Amid of the protests Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan continued to answer in the Question hour.
The lone BJP MLA in the assembly O. Rajagopal and MLA PC George , reached the house in black attire to mark their protest against LDF government in Sabarimala issue. The BJP had said that they support PC George led Kerala Janapaksham party and there would be cooperation of the both parties at the state level.
The Opposition slammed the government for imposing restrictions in Sabarimala and shouted slogans to end Police Raj in Sabarimala.
