Two minors, aged 11 years and 12 years are named as accused in the case filed over alleged cow slaughter that resulted in death of a Police officer and a local resident in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.
The names of Anas and Sajid have been found in the FIR. These boys are among the seven who complained about the cow slaughter in their surroundings. The villagers are shocked to see the children as accused in the case of cow slaughter.
The main complainant Yogesh Raj, who is a Bajrang Dal activist is the main accused in the case of killing of Police inspector. Yogesh Raj is missing since the incident.
The incident happened on Monday, when a group of right wing activists along with some locals gathered outside the Police Station complaining that they found the carcasses of cows in their surroundings. The mob turned violent and started throwing stones at the Police station. The mob turned violent citing alleged inaction by the officers over the repeated complaints regarding illegal cow slaughter.
Subodh Kumar Singh had arrived to control the violent mob, but he was attacked with stones and shot dead by the mob. In the clash, a local resident was also dead and several other policemen were also injured and many private and police vehicles were burnt.
