Pakistan Team Captain and skipper Sarfraz Ahmed said that former pacer Shoaib Akhtar is making personal attack towards him by criticizing him following his suspension for the racial comments at South African fast bowler Andile Phehlukwayo during the second ODI in Durban.
Adding to this, he said that he has accepted his mistake and is looking forward to improve the coming performance. As per reports, Sarfraz said that “Shoaib is attacking me personally not criticizing. I accepted my mistake and received the punishment. I want to thank PCB for handling this case and fulfilling requirements. I will improve myself and my performance in the future and I thank my supporter for their backing,”
While speaking about Sarfraz’s four-match suspension, Akhtar said that “This is not acceptable as a Pakistani. In my opinion he did this in the heat of the moment. I think he should apologize publically,”
