Team India won the fifth international One Day against New Zealand on Sunday. India had a 35-run win over New Zealand and became the third team to win the bilateral series in New Zealand.
India set a target of 253 runs and bowled out New Zealand at 217. Ambati Rayudu, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal lead the team into the victory. Ambati Rayudu scored 90 runs off 113 balls. Hardik Pandya contributed in both ball and bat. He scored 45 runs off 22 ball. Yuzvendra Chahal took 3 wickets for India.
New Zealand openers Colin Munro (24) and Henry Nicholls (8) started positively but, Nicholls was dismissed after three overs by Mohammed Shami. Munro and Kane Williamson tried to increase the score but, Munro was also bowled by Shami in the 10th over. Then, James Neesham (44) was the only card of the team to win but was dismissed.
