
On Friday, Travancore Devaswom Board president A Padmakumar denied the reports on his resignation rumours and said that he will complete his term. Also he added that no explanation was asked by Devaswom Commissioner in connection with the Sabarimala issue.
As per reports, Padmakumar said that “I will remain in the post until the term ends. I have firm opinions and I stand by them whatever happens. Devaswom board is with the government that allotted Rs 839 crore for Sabarimala and Devaswom Board and provided help. Board will stand by the side of government.”
Adding to this, he said that “Nobody should have any doubt regarding whether I will complete my tenure. I am still the president of the Devaswom board and I will continue there. No move to destroy the board will be allowed.”
